Saint Patrick.  What a guy.

As you may know I'm a big fan of this saint of God.  I admit, some of my attachment has to do with the whole Irish part of his story, but his story transcends any one time or place because of what it reveals about our potential as servants of Christ.  Even more than that, his story shows us the power of God's love to transform ANYBODY!

This man is an example and inspiration for all lovers of God.  He sought what his God sought - to bring life to the spiritually dead and light to those in deep darkness.  You and I - we need to seek these things... seriously and desperately we must seek them.  For God's sake, for the world's sake, and for our sake as well. 

May His Kingdom come... Saint Patrick helped it along mightily; what about you?
